Steps
📺 POS
At checkout, you choose a payment method the customer will use to checkout. The software assumes that the entire amount will be paid. If a partial payment is to be taken, first enter the amount (e.g. €10.00) and then click the desired 'payment method'.
In case of a surplus, the change will appear on the screen.
📱Handheld
Open the table you want to checkout and press the "Euro symbol" in the blue bar. This will take you to the checkout screen. This is also where you come in if you hold down the total amount for a longer time.
Choose the desired payment method and click the "check mark" at the top of the screen. The software assumes that the entire amount will be paid. If a partial payment is to be taken, first enter the amount (e.g. €10.00) and click the desired 'payment method'.
In case of a surplus, the change will be shown on the screen. For a payment method where no other action is required, you can also hold down the 'payment method' for longer. This means it not necessary to click the 'check mark'.
