Steps to install
To install the booq POS app on an Android device, follow these steps:
- Connect to the WiFi network that booq POS runs on
- In the browser, type in 'the IP address of your server' and type ":8080/booq/app" behind it. Load the page
You can find the IP address in one of the other booq POS apps via the 'Settings' button. If you have trouble finding it, or do you not have any other booq POS-apps running, please call the booq POS Service Desk. They can provide you with the correct IP address.
- If you receive a security message, continue by clicking "OK"
- The app will now be downloaded
- Click on the file that has been downloaded
- Click "Install"
- Select "Open"

Steps to install
To install the booq POS app on an Apple device, follow these steps:
- Open the 'App Store' and search for "booq POS"
- Click "Install" on the top right
- Click "Open"
The app is now installed.

Setting up the app
After you install the booq POS app, the next step is to set it up:
- Open the app and click the "gear icon" ( bottom left) to go to 'Settings'.
- If necessary, enter a recognisable name for the device at 'POS device name' (e.g. cash register at bar). Click "OK"
- At 'Server name/IP address' enter the IP address of the server. Click "OK"
- After completing the form, a message appears stating that the device has been successfully registered on the server. You can return to the login screen via the arrow in the top left-hand corner
- Use the login code to log in and use the app
